In the studio with Truck North and Ruck and Fam

Whaddup y'all? I'm doing great lately thanks for asking......Today was a great day might I add. My boy Ruck called me and told me to come to the studio. So I did and little did I know there were going to be the most talented artists in the world there. So we started off by listening to a whole bunch of hot beats provided by leck and myself. Then Truck North got on his writing game and killed it. He really did his thing in a matter of minutes. I have never seen this man in action and it was an honor. One of the most humble dudes I ever met. So the day of jokes and music went by and I gave mr Truck North some beats to feed off of. It truly was an honor and is an honor to be surrounded by such powerful and talented peers in this music game. So I'll keep yall tuned in the mean time. I have some great projects comin so stayed tuned

Djn/new projects

First of all I just want to say thanks to all of those who tuned in to DC radio 89.3 on the 28th of may. There is a link to the podcast at http://undersoundmusic.net so listen!! On to business now. Lately I have been Djing at Up Against the Wall at military circle mall. I have really gained a new family there, so shouts out to them. I love it really, I get to play GOOD music all day and get to meet all types of folks. Pretty soon I'll be DJing at MacArthur UATW as well so look out for that. Other than that I wanna thank all of the folks coming out to fuzzy wed erry wed that I'm DJing there. I'm not "DJing" tomorrow night but I will still be in the mix so drop by. Radio interview at norfolk state radio hot 91.1

So last wed I was at "fuzzy wed" after my trip to Richmond. I litteraly got off of the interstate and headed straight to Norfolk va. So I end up at fuzzys and like every time I'm there I'm just peeping out the open mic MC's/poets/singers. Well around 11:00 I lean towards the back where I find my man boo britt and big k. K and I chop it up a little about him getting a hard copy of my album "sound wandering". Then all of a sudden K says "ey man I got someone you need to meet" calls my man DJ Custon over and it starts from here. So K says " to Custon is back at hot 91" and goes "hey K eddie has got that fire you should put him on the show." so Custon says "come to the station sat at 7pm and we will put you on!!!" now that my friends is love and just good peoples. So here I am blogging on my iPhone on the way home from the radio station!! Thanks to K,Custon ,Awon and errybody who tuned in to listen. I will post a video of it soon. Matter of fact Custon told me to put a mix together and he's gonna play it on sat on hot 91.1 so be on the lookout for that as well.

Me and k bana at chicen fila

So I meet up with my bruva k bana to get some things done for my album. We met up and headed to chic fil a for a little lunch/talk. Little did I know that this trip would end up with so many great ideas about side projects and remixes. I'm really excited about the things we were throwing around on the table. So look out for the remixes due out June 16th for k banas recent solo project.

DJin for the kids....

Ok so this past sat. I was DJin at a bday party. It started off kinda janky with a minor speaker situation. When I arrived to scope out the spot, I was amazed at how much these people rented the place for. I helped set up the tables and such and then left to go about my business before I had to be there. Time flew by and when the time came to set up, I had erryone helping me currrry my stuff inside(erryone was a bunch of 14 year olds lol). So after I set up I started playin some jams right away. The party was supposed to start at 7pm, but you know how it goes and people didn't really start to show up until 830. Once the bday girl popped in, it got crazy.

Ok I know I havnt been 18 in a while now but I don't remember kids acting like this when I was their age. It was a rude awakening and a funny experience all in one. The kids ages were from 13 to 20 and not only were they wild, they were some fightin little chillens. Of course a fight broke out at least 2wice and I found out later on that some of the kids were drinking before the party in the parking lot. This was def. One of the most entertaining experiences I've ever had while DJing to say the least. The woman who threw the bash told me later on that some of the girls actually showed up without UnderWear!! What?!?!?!?! Needless to say I will not be having any girls as a future father lol.

If I do have a daughter in the near future I will prolly be freaking out until she's 40 lol. The dad of the little girl was there and was pulling these lil boys off of the asses of these lil(but lookin grown)girls. This was a night to remember ill tell you that much lol. Anyway shouts out to the folks that threw the party, my little buddy for gettin her go-go/bmore club on, and errybody who was just havin a good ol' time.

Casino night turned into DUMB luck

So I have never gambled before at a casino, so I figured I'd try. Today was the day that I found out what erryone was talkin bout. So me and my family decided to make this journey together including my sister. The begining of the night was going pretty bad with me losing around 40 bucks!! So I took a break and ended up sittin down and watching. Well after that I got the urge again and took 20 bucks rubbed my hands together, and went at it. I got down to 10 dollars at the 1 cent machine and decided to move to a 5 cent machine(oooo big money!!!! Lol)so I played that for 2 hits and bam!!! The kid ends up winning 380 something dollars!!!! Needless to say I cashed out and went on my happy way lol. I know when I'm done and this was that time. And as I'm writing this my fam is still trynna beat my joint!! Hahahaha big ups to all the water downed tonight by yours truly, the old philipino guy standing behind me watching me win my loot,and my bro for gettin pissed that I won that money at the machine he was tryin at.

Trip gone bad

So I'm on the way to baltimore by myself and as soon as I get on the interstate there are signs of traffic here and there. I really done think anything of it so I keep it movin. About 2 hours into my drive, there is one accident which didn't seem that bad at all really. But even though it didn't seem bad the traffic was horrible. I mean I knew the weather was bad but you never really think about it when you have a show and drum pauses to think about. So moving right along, after the first accident it was clear sailing ...........so it seemed(du du duuuuuuuuuu-old shocking sound). As I'm driving along here comes another one.......this time there are a couple of cars off the road basically jacked up to say the least. This is where the bumper to bumper cameinto play. When I first started my journey up north I estimated an arrival time of 730...............def wasn't gonna happen lol. I thought "eehhh maybe 830" which would have been ideal. And before I could say "undersoundmusic" there was another one!!!! (Man this was the greatest trip). At this point in time I wasn't gonna make it until about 1030-11.

This was about the time when I got news that we would just have to reschedule. So since I was half way between my crib and bmore I just turned around cause there was no way this accident was gonna let me through. But there is still a show on sunday so anyone who is in manhattan this sunday check out the show!! Everything happens for a reason (in my opinion) so maybe it wasn't the best time for a live show. So we are still having a live show and be on the look out for the time and place. Big ups to the traffic and the state troopers doing their job lol.

ok so im expecting a package today from UPS and i have never missed a package.man it blows!!you gotta call this 800 number and go through an automated system and after about an hour finally get to somebody.then they say you gonna get a call from someone within the hour, only to tell you that you cant pick your package up till 8pm!!man im heated but its all good at least i dont have to wait till tomorrow afternoon for that joint.by the by im testing out this new blogging program on my blackberry so im writing this as im chillin waitin for the UPS people to open the door!!anyway hope yall are doin well peace
